UNDERSTANDING THE MATERIALS
Recycled Cashmere Blend
Made fom recycled cashmere and wool fabrics sourced from the Bishu region in Aichi Prefecture, Japan. The wool is crushed, re-spun and woven to create a quality garment.
Washi
Using a blend of traditional Japanese washi material and organic cotton, MUJI Labo creates brand new pieces that are lightweight and timeless.
Yak Wool
This soft wool rivals cashmere in comfort and is warmer and lighter than Merino Wool. The wool is hand-combed and collected from Tibet, minimising environmental impact in comparison to conventional farming.
Kahdi: Indian Hand-Woven Cotton
The unique characteristics of this handmade work include the varying thickness of the threads, natural unevenness and the distinct look of each piece.
Lyocell Silk
Made from eucalyptus trees, lyocell and silk both boast excellent moisture absorption and desorption, resulting in a smooth, soft feel against the skin.
Extra-Long Staple Cotton Smooth Jersey
Longer cotton fibres create a smoother surface with fewer rough ends. This translates to a softer, silkier feel, and ultimately, a more durable and comfortable fabric.
