Materials of MUJI
Kapok
Kapok is a natural fibre with a smooth, soft texture. Due to its hollow structure, Kapok is the world’s lightest natural fibre. It performs well at absorbing moisture and retaining heat, while the smooth texture of the fibres gives Kapok its enhanced softness and elasticity.
Flannel
Our flannel garments are made of cotton from socially and environmentally conscious suppliers, with both sides of the fabric undergoing a brushing process to bring a fluffy, soft touch with enhanced warmth.
Soy Fibre
Soy fibre is made from the pulp leftover from processing soybeans into tofu and other items. This material is so incredibly soft and comfortable it's often referred to as "vegetable cashmere".
