This competition encourages you to slow down, put pen to paper and see how the right pen can elevate your handwriting. Enter to showcase your writing and discover why gel ink makes all the difference.
The winner as well as 2 other runner ups, determined by votes on our socials, will receive a complete stationery set to set them up for the year ahead.
Competition runs from 22nd January 2026 and 30th January 2026.
How do I enter?
- Purchase or own a MUJI Gel Ink Pen.
- Receive a print-out template from one of our stores at the register.
- Fill in the prompt with your best handwriting.
- Take a photo of the print-out with our Gel Ink Pen.
- Submit in the form below.

Gel Ink Pen Handwriting Competition – Terms & Conditions
Eligibility:
The competition is open to Australian residents at any age at the time of entry. Employees of MUJI and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
How to Enter:
To participate, entrants must:
a. Purchase or own a MUJI Gel Ink Pen.
b. Collect a print-out template from any participating MUJI store at the register.
c. Complete the template by filling in the prompt with your best handwriting using a MUJI Gel Ink Pen.
d. Take a clear photo of the completed template. Photo must include the Gel Ink Pen.
e. Submit the photo via the entry form on muji.com.au.
Entry Period:
Entries must be submitted between 22nd January 2026 and 30th January 2026. Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered.
Selection of Finalists:
A panel of MUJI judges will select the top 5 entries based on creativity, neatness, and overall presentation. These top 5 will then be featured in a social media poll for public voting.
Voting:
The 3 winners will be determined by the entry receiving the highest number of votes in the public poll on MUJI’s social media channels. Multiple votes from the same account may be disqualified at MUJI’s discretion.
Prizes:
The winners will receive a comprehensive MUJI stationery set designed to set them up for the year ahead. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Notification:
The winners will be notified via contact details provided within 7 days of the poll closing. If the winner does not respond within 24 hours, MUJI reserves the right to select alternative winners.
Use of Submissions:
By entering, participants grant MUJI a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use their submissions for promotional purposes, including social media, in-store displays, and marketing materials.
General:
MUJI reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice. Decisions of MUJI in relation to the competition are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
