Precautions when cooking in a hot water bath:
● Be careful not to get burned.
● Do not cook in a hot water bath when the water is boiling. The bag may burst or you may get burned. Heat slowly over low to medium heat.
● Remove the air from the bag and place a heat-resistant plate or similar on the bottom of the pot.
● To prevent the bag from bursting due to the expansion of steam, tie the bag as close to the opening as possible.
● Do not allow the bag to come into contact with the bottom of the pot or the surface of the pot. The bag may melt.
Precautions when using a microwave oven:
● Use the microwave oven only in the defrost mode and do not use it for cooking.
● Do not defrost foods that are high in oil (fried foods, curry, stew, etc.) in the microwave oven. The oil may become hot and melt the bag. Be sure to transfer the food to a dish or similar before defrosting.
● When defrosting, open part of the bag to defrost.
