MUJI RETAIL (AUSTRALIA) PTY LTD. (Melbourne; Michio FUKINO, Managing Director), a group company of Ryohin Keikaku Co., Ltd. (Tokyo; Satoshi SHIMIZU, President & Representative Director), has announced that it will open a flagship store in Australia in Melbourne early 2028. With the store size spanning over approx. 3,300 m2 across three floors at the heart of Melbourne CBD, MUJI Melbourne will be the largest retail outlet in Australia.

MUJI is a Japanese brand offering a wide range of thoughtfully designed products spanning household goods, apparel, food and personal care. The Melbourne flagship store will be MUJI’s seventh in Australia. The first launched in November 2013 at Chadstone Shopping Centre, the second in April 2014 at Emporium Melbourne and the third in The Galeries in May 2015.
